Now is the time to start the early planning stages of the 50th family reunion. All ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Hello,
Announcing the 50th annual Conoly/Conoley and descendants family reunion. This year the reunion will be held on Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th of September 2010 in Raeford, North Carolina. This is the area that our ancestors, Daniel Conley and Nancy Campbell settled when they married and came from Scotland to America in the 1790’s. Details are still being planned but the dates have been set. One of the things that I plan to do is take those interested on a trip back in time to old home places, cemeteries, and places of interest of our ancestors. That trip will take place on Saturday and I will talk about the people and events in their life that I have learned after 40 years of research on our ancestors. It has been a great interest of those who don’t live in the area and want to know more about our ancestors and I invite you to come along. Tell others about the reunion and make your plans to attend now. I will send out another message when more details are available. If you have a particular interest let me know.

I have received information from cousins from TX, OK, GA, VA, & SC who haven't attended in the past, will attend this year. Come enjoy the fun and meet new people.

I want to thank all those who attended the 2010 family reunion this year. We had many first time attendees. Some came from OK and from TX. Others didn't travel as far as they did, but still had a ways to travel to get there. We loaded five or six vehicles with people and took a trip back in time and visited old home places and grave sites of our ancestors and talked about events in their life. A great time was had by all who came and I enjoyed telling them about our history. Hope to see you there next year.

I just got a card from a first time attendee of the Family Reunion, Don & Carol Conoley Lewis. They said "You Carolina Conoleys are a class act ! " I thought I would share this with all that helped make the event happen.
