"I have tried and used several different softwares since the late 80�s. I have put test people in them and ran reports and stuff to see how they worked. I have been using The Master Genealogist software, the gold version, for over 10 years. I find it to be as simple or complex as you want it to be. It can be downloaded at www.whollygenes.com for a free trial version loaded with a test family.

They make a silver and gold version. I always get the gold version, it has a few more features and get a CD with it in case of computer failure. It is a little bit pricey but I think it is well worth it. It is what I used to generate the (Conoly/Conoley History) book."
